Retired 5 years ago after 10 years in the Air Force and 27 years in a nuclear power plant as an electrician. Took up woodworking after I retired and a couple months ago finally got a small lathe. Delta LA200. Started turning pens and right away I new I loved it. It's great watching things take shape as you work on it, unlike flat work. The wife showed the local druggist an El Grande she confiscated and he wanted to sell them so right now he has a dozen pens on consignment. If they sell great it will help feed this hobby. Guess what everyone is getting for Christmas this year. Looks like lots of experience here to learn from and someday may even be able to contribute.
