Another new style

I turned this one tonight and really like it's style. One of these days I will spend some $$ and buy one of the top line kits and try it. I really like the looks of the Emperor by CSUSA. Deffinatly want to make a fountain style too. Anywho, this one is Black Cherry Burl.

That is an unbelievable blank! It's a simple kit, an old kit, but I think a good looking one. I prefer it's thicker centerband as opposed to the slimline bands, that fo sho.

Beautiful wood and a great pen Darrin, just watch out when buying top line kits as the Emperor is a big, heavy pen, may be safer buying the Junior Emperor first, then if you still want bigger and heavier order the full size version.

Beautiful pen. cherry burl is pretty hot, I have a huge pile like that drying in my shop!
