I made this clock more than 10 years ago with ash and padauk. Outer diameter (ash): 26 cm (+/- 10"). Inner diameter (padauk): 19 cm (7,5").
Thanks for looking.

Now that is what I am talking about. Very well done and has all the features I like including an accent wood not only for the numerals but the outside edging. Excellent work. Thanks for showing.

Thanks to all for your warm words.
The fact is that when I made this clock, it was the first time I worked with padauk. And it was really the best wood for this job, with its orange colour and satin reflects, indeed adding so much to the Sunset suggestion. But after a few weeks, the padauk turned to... brown, removing one critical figment from the suggestion aggregate.
A very good lesson for me at this time: with respect, learn more... and again... from this living material you intend to shape.
