Another Cartridge / Antler pen

Geez, I wish I had done the 3 of these I got from Gary Max during deer season, I just sold the first one I did. So I went ahead and got the cutesey little Gold rifle clip, and did this one with a cheap copper kit, and used a piece of buffalo horn for the center band.

That is a very nice pen. I'm not much on the center band, though. I just sold the one I made, I need to make another.

It looks nice Ken. I've never used the rifle clip myself - I also thought they looked "cutesy". I finally broke down though, and bought a few clips to try out. In person, they don't look bad.

Nice looking cartridge pen! Normally I don't like those, but the colors you used are very 'rugged' looking! That's a great cartridge pen!

Lookin' good. Although, I'm not sure if I like or dislike the center band. It's OK, probably a personal taste thing. I am a bit turned off by the mix of colors. Silver/nickle clip and cartridge, whitish barrel, black center band and copper nib.
