Many of you will recall the following post that describes a cause supported by Jon Tello and his wife:

http://www.penturners.org/forum/f18/pen-turning-rebuilds-lives-137149/

I remember reading this post and thinking that I would like to do something to support this cause but did not follow through at the time. I was recently given a reminder of Jon's efforts and decided to contribute a pen in the hopes that it would somehow support this worthy endeavor. I'll be sending this pen to Jon's group early next week.

The pen is my latest attempt at embellishing a kitless pen with precious metal clay. The logo was made with the assistance of Bruce Robbins who made a stencil for the logo without knowing what it was for. The logo is a little off due to my limited skills in working with metal clay and not due to a lack of skill on Bruce's part. I feel like I have the proportions right on this kitless pen and hope that Jon will find it acceptable.

A truly wonderful pen Cody! Very thoughtful and generous as well. Very nice job with the precious metal accent.
I am sure Jon will be thrilled as this will help his mission.
