This is my favorite pen that I have made, to me almost looks like a cobra on the cap

Zeke,

I agree with Mark. It is difficult to see your work on this pen. I would advise investing in a tripod.

As best I can tell, this is a very nice pen that "deserves" a better photograph.

Looks like you are using a camera phone, you need to upgrade to a point & shoot camera with close-focusing capability (most of the current cameras have this).

Yeah I'm using my Blackberry Camera phone....I do need a nice camera. These were the best pics I could get with the camera phone. Any suggestions for a good camera that Isn't too pricy?

Cameras? I shoot with a Pentax dSLR but for P&S models, I think Canon has the best image quality for the price. Good, Canon A470 Powershot at ~$90, better, Canon A590IS at ~$140 and best, Canon SD880 at ~$260.

If you want a camera you can also take to the beach, Pentax makes a P&S model with very good image quality, waterproof to 13ft in the Optio W60 at ~$270.
