Ambrosia Maple.

I was processing some Ambrosia Maple last night and this is what I found.. This was from one of the many blocks I came across the other day. Pen Blanks, knife scales and have cut a few bowl blanks out of it so far. The colors are amazing, I was suppressed to see the grey, can't wait to make something from this beautiful wood.

I've made several band saw boxes from ambrosia maple. They were perdy. Congrats on some nice wood.

That is the magic part of playing with wood,
you just never know what you will find when you slice it up.
