Hello my Friends!

I know many of you are probably waiting for the results of my stabilizing on these lighter colored amboyna sapwood. The colors interacted differently than my box elder, maple, or other woods. I started with pinks, blues, and reds and then stabilized one set with dark blue and the other with light blue. the final effect was mostly a washout of the initial color stabilization. The dominant colors for the blanks is mostly greenish blue (a combination of blue with the natural tan color of the sapwood)

Anyway, the Burl pattern is still gorgeous and some of the color streaking can be seen in the darker blue blanks. Overall, the center of the blanks will be more homogenous than I would like to see in a multi-colored pen. I made two pens with these sets so you can observe. The darker pen is with the darker blanks and the lighter green one is with the lighter blanks. They turn easily and are great for either thick or thinner pens.

These Oversize blanks started at 1 inch square and are slightly less after sanding. They are 5.5 inches long.
I'm selling them for $26 for a set of two. Each set has one darker and one lighter (except the last set which is two lighter colored ones)

I can ship 4 of them for $5 or 5 or more for $8 CONUS

Best,
