You did great on the kit. The wood is wonderful. Was it a freebie, cause the only freebies I have ever gotten from BB was two 5/8 solid color acrylic blanks. Maybe I have to spend more to get the good stuff.

It really is one of the most rewarding woods to turn! On BB's freebie's, I always get pieces I am extremely happy to get -- usually rare and desireable woods that are locally available to AZ (without going into detail). The funny thing is I ALWAYS forget about the freebies until I am opening the box and it is like Christmas everytime!
