All wooden treadle lathe

I'm not sure if this will transfer. But, the Buckeye Woodturners Club in Ohio had a recent club project to make an "all wood treadle lathe" (I hope my terminology is correct, please correct me if wrong).

Looks like about 1/8 horsepower. A hard working drummer could probably bump the speed up a notch or two.:wink:
