A chip cracked off the bottom edge of the Sierra Clicker when I was pressing the nib on. This was the last of a group of 3 pens I was doing for my wife to gift to a friend - she was going to pick her favorite of the three. She already was quite fond of the first one I did, so I showed her the "finished but cracked" unassembled pen and asked her if she wanted me to try and save it. She said no, she liked the first one, so I put this on the shelf intent on turning the wood off the tube at some point. As I stared at it over the next couple of days there on the shelf, it grew on me, so I decided to save it. I filled the chip out with purple mica/epoxy, returned and refinished it and kinda hid the purple fill behind the clip. I say "kinda", because the purple was actually pretty cool and I wanted it to be just a little visible.

Funny thing is, when I showed it to my wife, it's now her favorite and the one she'll be using as a gift.

The Air Force Cigar is a different gift for a vet friend.
