I've had this agarita root sitting for over 8 months. It started yelling at me on Tuesday. I inlayed it with some black wood and viola, turned out nicer than it looked rough cut. Frosted gold Euro dry finished to 12k mm then friction polish and ren wax. Thanks for looking.

That wood looks lot like Curtis' Mescal Bean blanks. Cool looking wood.

No, it is definately Agarita. Mescalbean is much more orange and has very different figure.

Alex, the pen looks great my friend! BTW, it is mescalbean time so I will get some picked up and sent to you.
