Here's a possible pen idea for people that make their own acrylics. My daughter and I were just looking at a pumkin stem from a pumpkin that rotted away in the garden. When the stem is dry it is very porous and fiberous. If the stem was a bit longer, it could be stabilized. It was pretty interesting on the inside. Just a thought to maybe keep in mind down the road for pumpkin season.

I found the remains in the garden for you, so here it is. Perhaps not the greatest photo, but gives you some idea. You'd want to cut the stem longer than this off the pumpkin of course, this one is only about 3 inches long.
