Instead of block casting, I decided to try a PVC tube cast with Alumilite. I must have taken too long as the purple started to thicken quickly. I just poured the colors in the tube as fast as I could and stuck a twisted coat hanger in the tube. Got it in the pressure pot and didn't know what to expect.

My wife liked how it turned out and asked me how I did it:). I told her it was just an accident.

Some Accidents are better than others, this is one of the Great Accidents.
A most Spectacular Blank, Superb Colours and Pattern.
May you continue to have more Accidents, Dick.

Are you using a buffing system to get the shine?

I wet sand with micro mesh pads to 12000. Then I use Meguiars 17 Plastic Cleaner and follow it up with Meguiars 10 Plastic Polish from my local auto supply store. I have on occasion used a buffing wheel with white diamond, but didn't do that on this one.
