Accepting credit cards at craft fairs ???

We did our first craft fair yesterday. We did pretty good, but lost alot of business due to inability to accept credit cards. After some research I realized that there is a free program for android phone users that will allow me to accept cards. Does anyone here use there phones to accept credit? What program do you suggest? Pros/cons that I should look our for? We have another fair next weekend and would like to start accepting cards. Thanks

Search the site for the words 'square credit card' and you'll read a lot about it, both pro and con. FWIW, I use a Square and have had no problems. I did have one card it wouldn't read yesterday, but the card was obviously very worn.

I tracked my total sales this years 87% of my sales came from credit cards I use the square. Its easy to use and now have a ipad stylist for the customers to sign with.
