A pencil by a Princess

Youngest Czardine, Rachel, who just turned 13 on Thursday, turned this beautiful dyed box elder click pencil last weekend.

CA finish, sanded with MM, and then buffed with plastic polish.

Besides bandsawing the blanks, Dear-old-dad did nothing but supervise.

She's getting pretty darn good at turning... and wants to try her hand at a lidded box soon. Pics to come soon, I hope.
