Made this finally unable to get rid of the CA blotching marks. Will keep as a prototype. Personally feel there is a visual imbalance in the shape, but unable to spot that. Any advise? also how to eliminate the blotchy areas on the CA. The Ends are Epoxy, originally had planned same wood dust and CA, left that option for the final remake. The Clip is solid brass and embedded in the Epoxy, please give any idea how to add a spring or similar.

It does look a little front heavy. I'll wipe wood blanks down with a little bit if acetone to remove dust and grease. I've also found that if you touch the CA before it's dry the oils from your fingers will leave white spots. I've also found I get better results if I let the blank sit overnight before I final sand and finish the CA.
