Last Wednesday, A member here Lee Storesund, was in the area and dropped by for a visit. Instead of TALKING about penmaking, we went to the shop and poured some blanks snd discussed the nuts and bolts of pen making.
Our first effots were with PR, then we moved on to Alumalite Crystal Clear. It is hard enough to pour PR in 100 degree weather eith 90 percent humidity (actually, a mild day here).
We found that it was hard enough to pour PR in these conditions, much less Alumalite. WE DID HOWEVER FIND THAT IT WAS A GOOD DAY FOR A BOAT RIDE.
