My 2nd and 4th pens that I have made.
The 2nd pen is a platinum slimline with some funky blue acrylic that my daughter picked out at woodcraft. I didn't paint the tubes and they show at the ends. I won't make that mistake again. The acrylic was fun to turn and easy to finish
The 4th pen is a gold slimline with hickory. I had some flooring scraps that I used for this. It is heartwood that was close to a knot. I like this pen and it has become my daily user. Easy to grip. I don't think the friction polish held that well because it feels like it is gone
The 3rd pen my father confiscated to use. How could I say no. It was another platinum slimline with some darker wood that I got from woodcraft.
