a disc sander

Having a small wood shop 10 x 10 I need to think about using one tool for several things such as the lathe, beside pen turning i also have my buffing system rugged for the lath. I now want to build a 9" sanding disc. I have a 4" faceplate for the lath. Got my MDF wood . Ok, Nows here's my problem I want use hook and loop based sandpaper Does anyone out there known of a company that makes 9"dia hook & loop?

Shopsmith makes a velco-backed series of sanding disks. They are 12" in diameter so would probably be overkill for what you want to do. The link to their website follows:
