The last couple of years the magnetics are getting more popular at the shows that I do, so, I like to get them out of way at the start of the year,so it's been vertex and zen's,these are the last few that I need.
When you make pens to relax and your tired of making pens, what do you do?
(insert twilight zone music ) OF COURSE!!! we make pens. the two that I did today were more for fun and had no real plan but I think that they'll sell so all's
ok I guess.
Thanks for looking
C&C welcome
Mark

Mark, those are some great looking pens! What is that shiny piece in both blanks? I haven't seen that in your blanks before, looks good!

Great Pens Mark,
Incredible Blanks, love the '50 stylised Chrome Strips, matched with Star Dust Black, and "Boiler Copper".

All that remains, is to work out what you did, and how you did it.

All I can think of, and a wild idea.
Is to "loss wax cast" the "Chrome Strips" in Pewter or Aluminium, then cast it in the Blanks.
With the "Boiler Copper", as above, but turn the blank to a required diameter, then undercut the area to accommodate the copper then adhere.
Encase in epoxy, and then turn to finished diameter.
A lot of work but such a Fantastic Styled Blank.
Mark, your Fit and Finish, and choice of hardware is Spot On.
Congratulations,
Brian.
