These are a couple of pens made from Koa I recieved from Kalai a couple of months back. He sent a great box with quite a few koa blanks as well as some others, including some bottle stopper sized blanks and a couple of small bowl blanks.
Thanks Chris
One is a one piece slimline, and the other is on a "KOA" kit from Wood Pen Pro.
Looks like a lot of the items used to make these two pens is going back to where they came from.

A couple of really nice looking pens. The second one looks like a variation of a Sierra.

A question on the Slimline. How does the mechanism work and how do you change refills?? I am guessing that the nib rotates and is also removable.

Craig,
The second one is from WoodPenPro.com It is a Sierra type called "Koa" which means warrior.

JD. You are correct. Only the upper tube is bonded in. The lower tube is free floating and you do twist the tip to make it extend, etc.
