A couple new things for the weekend

Sapele lids for a salt and pepper set. Turned as replacements when friends dog ate their originals. Hopefully their dogs never did that to their homework as kids!

Apple Hollow Form. Around 7" (17cm) tall. Finished with waterborne lacquer. I am really starting to like turning apple! Tried something a bit different with this. Went with a wider base than I normally use to make it less tippy and tried a slightly flared mouth.

Thanks, things are finally calming down at work and I have power back from the Hurricaine Sandy disruption so I can get back in the shop and work on a few projects.
