Carved a couple more eggs and turned a new stand

Carved the Peacock the other night. Turned and pierced the stand and carved the Swan yesterday at the Connecticut School of Woodworking Open house.

Tried airbrushing a bit of blue within the water ripples, but am not sure it worked.

Stand is made from Maple.

Yes ... very nice.
I think color will add to the beauty once you find your style.
Still ... the simplicity of the white egg is also appealing.

Nice work on the stand ... it complements ... but does distract just a little.
Perhaps a stand with three slim fingers holding the egg or one with a lower rim would not.

I am no art critic so what do I know ... your work looks wonderful.
