First Round Top European and first acrylic. While it finishes much easier than wood you can smell it all over the house. The drill press does not have enough throw to drill the hole in one shot so the last part has to be done without removing the bit. Using the lee valley brad point bits it works fine in wood but sure stinks up the place with this stuff. May just stick with wood for now anyway. Wet sanded to 1500 grit then a piece of paper bag and polished with silver polish.

Nice pen.

I've done a few acylics and didn't really notice a major smell. Maybe you got it too hot when you drilled it? Or, my nose is dead from all the acylic. [:D]
