Maple burl spalted stablized partial dyed which had an issue but corrected it with my wife's stash of ink and a nib. 10 plus coats of 2p-10 ca and a lot of prayer.

Thank you Ben and Jan... I gave a magnifying glass to 2 people and they could not find it either. It sometimes the littlest things are the biggest problems... I do think this is an answer to some of those little things.

Thank you, all and yes these spalting lines and just the amount going on in the body of this piece of wood allowed me to try this method... I think what surprised me was using the wife's blending method let me feather the ink colors so this catch would not stand out and say... I DON'T BELONG. A natural look is what I was shooting for... I hope I did say that right.
