5min epoxy weirdness

Never had this happen before. Been a while since I decided I would put a pen together. Long story, lots of failures, lots of ****iness not worth getting into. Any way thought I would put together a zen for the wife as an apology. Grabbed the 5min epoxy and there is a serious mess under it and everything is gooey. Upon closer inspection the base of the syringe has two holes melted in it. At some point in the last month there was a chemical reaction that got it hot enough to melt the container. Anyone else ever have this happen? This is a new one on me.

I've had epoxy leak before, but I'm more concerned about you. Putting together an apology pen and finding a mess could spell more doghouse time for you if the mess wasn't contained in your own man-cave area. Hope it all works out for you.

It was at the shop. Believe me this is not the worst thing that has been spilled there. Not going further into the dog house for this.
