Idiots. Can't they see the difference between a real ammunition and a pen?

FYI I received a rifle scope for Christmas. Since this was a fairly expensive scope, I decided to carry it on with me. When I went thru security at the Phoenix airport on the way home, the TSA agent told me that in some airports, carrying on a rifle scope is considered a big no-no. It was supposed to go in a checked bag. I questioned the rule and she just said that in Phoenix, it's ok to carry on a rifle scope, just not in some other airports.

That's probably fairly feasible considering nothing is actually turned. I highly doubt they're making one at a time also! That's an average of 55 pens per day (roughly).

That's TSA for you. Over react to most everything and miss the real dangers. I really Have nothing good to say about that outfit based upon my personal observations.

Maybe they were afraid because the pen is mightier than the sword?

I'm guessing that their skulls are mightier because nothing seems to get through.

What we need today is uncommon sense (formerly known as common sense).
