4th time's the charm

Well, the castin craft resin is so brittle, its been a struggle. Been trying to make this polaris for weeks now, and finally had this one work. The others either chipped out something fierce, or I made casting errors.


I made the switch to silmar 41 and looking forward to trying it.

Not too sure about the polaris kit. Styling is fine, but the pen is kinda short.

The blank is kinda flat in the pic. Looks better in person. The red is Pearlex Blue Russet and the white is simply Mother of Pearl Powder from Hobby Lobby. Tube was painted white. Plating is Blank Ti.

That's sharp. The Polaris might be short, but what you did, really works.

I found the Polaris/Atlas, etc. to be popular with the ladies. I suppose it takes up less room in their purse, carry bag, etc. Two of my peers at work carry them in their (day planner). I suppose every pen has a purpose.
