Here are 40 nice pecan blanks - the price is $30.00 plus shipping for all 40.
These will only be sold as a complete set. I can fit all 40 into a MFRB with room for a little extra packing material.
Most of these blanks are 7/8" by 10.5" to 11" long. A few are a little smaller & a couple are only about 5" long. Most of the blanks in the first two photos are quite solid and will not need stabilizing. Those in the third photo will certainly need stabilizing or could be used to make some great worthless wood blanks.
These all came from 1/2 of a small log that was about 10" in diameter & about 12" long with a small burl cap in the center of the log. It came from a huge log that fell from my 300-500 year old pecan tree.
There is a nice combination of blanks with slight spalting, great colors, nice figuring and some burl. Moisture content is about 15-20%, so some additional drying will be needed.
I will be cutting pecan wood for quite some time, so there will be more to come.
