.308 Pens

These are a couple of pens that I made with casings that I received from Cozee. These were Christmas presents for a couple of co-workers who are hunters.

I think that they came out OK, but next time I am going to look for copper kits or have them copper powder coated. I think that would really improve them.

Nice work Scott. I bought a handful of casings from Cozee as well. I made an Antler casing pen for my brother with one of them. I like the wood combo you have with them.

They are nice pens. The stuff you can do with shell casings is never-ending.

I'm not too much into the casing parts of pens, but I love the wood in both of your pens. Are they kingwood and some sort of burl (cherry perhaps)?
