My first 2 Jr Emporer kits. I really like these kits. Good solid feel, but not too flashy.

First, a Blue Lapis FP.

The Trustone for this wasn't compresed properly and had some sub-surface voids. Not that noticeable when turning, but after wet-sanding they filled in with a poweder blue color. Turned the upper barrel down a little more and the light blue is down to just a few specs that blend in nicely. You can't see them in the photo.

And a Bianco Nero FP. The lower barrel blew out on my when drilling. There is a glue line visiable, so I think this one will stay in my personal collection.

Last but no where near least. A nice Jr Statesmen in a prickly pear black I got from Mesquiteman. Clear acrylic with the inside of the blank painted black, tube epoxied in. Turned out really well I think.

Now if I can just get a few of these things sold!

Nice work. I like the shape of the second one the best. IMHO, the Emperors and Jr Emperors do not lend themselves well to increased contours like the first and third ones.
