Hi All,

Just started doing European kits, and am really enjoying them.:D

Below are my latest efforts, they are -

African Blackwood with friction polish ( Have stopped trying to apply CA to AB, as I never get a consistant finish!).

Poplar Burr (Managed to get a good finish on this one, took it down to the bushings using a scraper, then applied 5 coats of CA, and then sanded. Stopped any marks I was getting)See link Below!

Last is another acrylic. I need to use a whiter nail varnish on the tubes, as they have shown through slightly. Luckily it looks okay with the gold kit.

Thanks Mark, the tenon join is much easier to do now that I have my "Micrometer".[:D]

Great advise that you gave me. I use it all the time to check the sizing for the joins on everything except slimlines.[;)]It makes a huge difference!
