Had a small piece of leopardwood left. Made a lead holder to use while drafting at work.
Very nice grain in your pen, well done !! I have several of these in my shop and like the large size lead for general marking, as it is hard to break. However I find the lead to wide for precise marking of smaller projects or segmenting. Jim S

Nice work on the lead holder. Was this made from a kit or did you remake a finished product?
This is the 2 mm Stratus gun metal pencil kit from Penn State Industries.

Dale; PSI also has a Workshop/ Sketch pen kit #PKSPCL $7.95, or a Deluxe Sketch Pen/Pencil kit # PKSPCL2BT (Black )$12.95 or #PJSPCL2C ( Chrome ) $9.95. All of these have 5.6mm leads as opposed to the larger 2mm lead. Jim S

I have made the 5.6 mm before but didn't know there was a 2 mm kit. I just may have to give it a try.
