‎21st Century Quill in 24ct gold

A pen crafted from brass which has then been plated in 24ct gold

a very long design, modelled on a quill. A truely luxurious pen which suits any executive desk or for those who truely appreciate the use of a fine pen.

the front section is one piece, nib inclusive.

Absolutely beautiful. You have way too much time on your hands.

Could you etch some lines on the body to simulate the quill lines?

Just beautiful! Almost looks liquid!

Theres a trick to that as ive found.

I chrome plate the piece first giving it that slick mirror like finish, and then give it a brush coat of 24ct gold plating. the chrome still shines through, giving you that lusterous liquid shine

Brad; Again, another home run !!! I think the K.I.S.S. theory applies here. Keep it simple stupid. You don't put fender skirts on a Roles Royce. Fantastic Craftsmanship !!! Jim S

Beautiful Pen,But I have to be honest I'm in awe of the skill set needed to build this
pen, Less is more and the simplicity of this is a statement in itself.
I am curious though, did you have curly hair when you started this ectotherm and plating stuff?JK!
nice work
Mark

Yes I did actually. Though ive always put that down to licking a scalextrix track as a child. .... odd child lol

Thanks mark
