The
children in the video clearly do not understand what "net neutrality" is. Like everyone else who has more opinion and less fact, they hide their accusations in meaningless catch phrases which are repeated over and over.
Network neutrality is the principle that Internet
users should be in control of what content they view and what applications they use on the Internet. The Internet has operated according to this neutrality principle since its earliest days.
Today, the neutrality of the Internet is at stake as the broadband carriers (notably Comcast and Cox) want Congress's permission to determine what content gets to you first and fastest. They are looking to provide premium service across the web on a "pay for performance" basis. Put simply, this would fundamentally alter the openness of the Internet. This does NOT mean an end to the internet!
