Made 2 more Knight's Armor...
The one on the left is the one I made yesterday with Zebra wood.
Middle one is Wenge, aluminum and Purple heart.
Right one is leopard wood and padauk.

I went with the stripes because it makes me think of a knight's banner.

Thanks for looking, comments welcome,
Erik

I apologize for my picture taking skills...getting a better camera this week...

Nice work, and nice segmenting. We don't often see lengthwise segmenting. Don't worry about the picture skills either. I know that I would rather see a dozen "average" pictures than just one beauty shot.

Thanks for the comments.

The wenge/aluminum/purpleheart one blew apart while drilling, glad I made a couple blanks when I glued them up. Ended up wrapping the 2nd one with papertowel and coating with CA to drill.

The purpleheart turned brown after working, it went in the sun all day and now it is a nice bright purple again.

Take care,
Erik

Very nice. I too like the purple heart with the pewter finish hardware.

I want to try this kit, as well as the Celtic kit. I'll be interested to hear how these kits hold up. I've not made any PSI pens.
