Oh, quite nice! I've wanted to play around with feet on bowls for some time now, but keep forgetting to! I get so focused on getting thinner and thinner that I forget that I need thick for the feet / pedestal!

not sure of the wood. It is off a cut off from a post a friend of mine used in cabinets. it looks like maple pieces glued together. He call it rubber wood? maybe someone can clarify. I sanded to 600 and finished it with renaissance wax. Should i have finished them another way? any suggestions would be appreciated for the next set. this set is already sold. there were actually three pieces. the other piece did not have feet. sold set for $125.00.
