1st. bi-wood, lamination

I inserted 2 oak dowels oriented at 90 degrees to each other into a mequite blank. This pen is for my father's 61 birthday next month. I've got an Az. ash blank on the workbench with 3 holes in it for doweling. I'm not sure how a pen like this would sell, but they are fun to make.

Photo is a little better, but I still haven't dragged out the tripod and set the shot up right yet.
