I tried opposing side scallops one long,one short. I am happy how it came out considering its my first attempt with scallops.Could always be better.Feedback is welcomed.Its Macadamia with spalted Koa

I have to agree with Ruby Pen Turning. It is hard to see the pen. Try not to put things that distract from what you want people to look at. I am still trying to fine tune this. Someone posted the other day about outside on a cookie sheet and the pics looked great.......guess what I'm getting at wally world tomorrow.

From what I see the Pen looks nice. I would love to see some more upclose. Scallops are on my soon todo list.......or closed ends....one or the other.

ok second try

First pen is the first scallop attempt,mac nut with spalted koa. Second is my second attempt,this one is slight curly koa with some scraps of maple I had around the shop.I hope easier to see now,I suck at taking picks. Maybe I should take a class
