I made this today for someone that broke his other pen by dropping (mentioned in another post, repair is free for that one). He wanted one of these in DIW so I told him a price and he wants it. Quick photo and off it went.

great job Jerry

I'll have to say the long sleek profile is very nice.... but I'm confused by what Pen it is?... I don't understand the mechanics of it. how do you twist, pull, push, to get it to work?... I guess its a really great job if its hidden that well.

It is all done with the nib. Twist the nib to bring out the ink and pull on the nib to remove the refil.

It helps to use a slightly larger brass tube on the bottom to reduce the friction fit and make manipulating the nib easier. The larger tube is just a shade over 7mm inside diameter and only needs to be an inch or so long. The mechanism is held in place by the upper 7mm tube. A package of atomizer replacement tubes will give a bunch of material to work with.

He does have a nice looking pen there.
