This special piece created by Steven is packed and ready to travel anywhere..
the mountains of Colorado, the beaches of Hawaii, the plains of Texas or ______________ ???
Maybe someone is lurking in the background waiting to have it join them in another exciting locale?

Like Chuck said, still plenty of time before the gavel comes down - sorry Vic~

Does anyone know if the pictures and their story were ever sent to Pen World?

Wayne
I do not know but, my guess would be no. I know enough about the creator to say that, he is not a fame seeking type of person. HOWEVER...I will let him speak for himself. He may visit here a bit later and, hopefully, will answer your question himself. Stay tuned!

Hey Chuck, I heard Skip went out and bought some pink wrapping paper and is wrapping this set in it to whoever gets it. He is doing that as a token of appreciation for your call of this auction. Maybe just rumors but this is what my sources are telling me.:biggrin::biggrin:

Pen World mails to Canada so I don't see why they would exclude Europeans unless they think Wales doesn't have mail service.

You could get Penna Magazine. Printed in both Italian and English in the same issues. They mail to this continent so I'm sure they would embrace your money too.

Chuck, you could have timed it a bit better...
5 hours is 2 am here.....I'm currently in a hotel pub 200miles from home...with a very tough day expected for tomorrow, so I'm gonna have to get my beauty sleep.

I'll try and set my alarm and have a look-see.:)

Good luck to those able to bid. It has been an absolute privilege and honour to be a small part in this, no matter where it ends up.

..

Sure is quiet around here. When my kids got this quiet, I started to worry what they might be up to.

We're down to the last few hours before this amazing piece of art rides off into the sunset.

I will defer to Vic or whomever ends up taking this fine prize. As exceedingly desirable as it is, I have reached (actually somewhat exceeded) what I could manage to expend here. So my hearty early congrats to the winner, and to the talented rat that made it all possible!

There are 15 minutes remaining. If there is a last minute bid we will extend the auction to give other bidders ample opportunity to counter bid. Current high bid is $1700.00 by Gordon Thank You!
