Thank You!
Thank you all for your kind comments! Doc
That sir is simple and beautiful at the same time. Very nice. I would love to know that mosaic resin is though.
Bill, Thank you. The resin was a gift or freebie from Dawn at Exotic Blanks. Don't know the type of resin. I think it had Conklin on the end I cut for pen.
That is SOOOOOOOOO nice !!!!
Would you mind telling me what thread sizes you used, please. I think there are 4 threaded regions.
Is the clip steel ? . I assume you glued a strip of resin to the clip. . Thanks
Mal, Thank you.
The thread sizes in millimeters are as follows:
Body to Cap: 14×.8 (X3)
Section to Body: 10 X 1
Cap to Finial: 9×.75
Bock housing to section: 7.9x 0. 6
The clip is a Rinehart with a vertical slot milled to form a joint with the resin and glued in with J&B steel
epoxy. Resin finished and polished.
Hope that helps.
Very nice Doc. You did a great job on the clip. I like the two tone body.
Mike
Mike, Thanks so much!
Hmm... wonder why I thought about making this Aluminum and resin pen...
Some inspiring dude in Florida made this cool red resin and Aluminum pen and another Aluminum, Ebonite and Cebloplast pen.... Trying to remember the name of that magical metal melding blue tinted lupine... LOL.
