So, I'd squared off a few blanks and I had a strip of mahogany left over about 2mm wide. "What can I do with this?"
Well, the answer is to slice a piece of beech diagnally and glue the mahogany in between. Then do it again the same direction, then again in the diagonally opposite direction. Voila! Inlaid blank to turn.
