I have been turning for several years on my old Delta lathe. I just turned my first few slimline pens, and I fear I am hooked. So I am excited to join this group, and partake of the vast knowledge and experience here. Hopefully I will be able to give back after a while. Dave

Welcome from Ohio. My wife and I have very close friends who have a cottage on the west side of the lake (residence in Dansville) and we and our children have enjoyed many wonderful weekends there. As well as skiing at Bristol and Swain.

Here's the information. The website is fingerlakeswoodturners.com. There's lots of information on the site. It says the meeting starts at 6:00 PM but most arrive around 6:15 with the 'real' part of the meeting starting closer to 6:45.

WHEN WE MEET!

We meet 9 times per year, September through May, on the 3rd Thursday of the month starting at 6:00 pm and going until 9:00 pm.
