I have a person that purchased a Cross Townsend Pen for a friend last year. This pen was discontinued - They are asking if I can convert another Cross Townsend pen into a pencil - they have the converter kit....The problem I am having is that this person would like the lower barrel to be made of a burled wood. Can this be done? Do I take the Cross pen apart - is that possible? OR is there a pen and pencil set / kit that I can purchase that would be of this quality and simply offer to make a whole new matching set with burled wood.
