Proxxon Miter

I scored a proxxon miter saw on Ebay that was like new, Thanks to the forum for threads on this saw and Tony in particular, I pulled the trigger and got it for 160.00. It arrived and it was off to the shop, I cut 1/16" slices like butter (new Blade) It's a lot safer that my 10" table saw and the slices were spot on. The blanks were 7/8" blanks. Thanks for the forum for the discussions on cutting and I would definitely recommend this set up for easy square cuts.

That was a steal. I really like it. Many of the members made some real good mods to it. Check out the post that I started when I had the same questions that you did. BTW, I owe my knowledge of the tool to the selfless advice of many IAP members.

I just but an overhead, inexpensive light to install directly over it (15 at HD) to improve the visibility of the cutting blade on the blank.
