about 4 years ago rockler had such a kit in their catalog, then it disappeared...

however, i called them and they still had some in stock about 3 years ago...

so you might give rockler a call (not your local store, catalog sales) and see if they still have some...

Cue components has some nice stuff, and give very good details on how to make a cue (also some very premium wood). I bought the rockler kit and it worked quite nice.

One little note...to turn the thin end it would be recommended to have a spindle stabilizer to keep it from flexing while you turn.

Ive always wantd to turn my own pool cue just have a slight problem. My lathe isnt big enough oh well guess time to sell more pens and buy a bigger lathe!!
