Last night I taught a sphere and egg turning class at Woodcraft.
I had only two students who were already turners and understood presenting a sharp edge with bevel support. Class went very well indeed!
Both learned how to turn these items and different methods used to do so......and went home with an egg and sphere. I gave them each some extra blanks and a pair of cup centers.
Here is a pic of my display of eggs and spheres for them to see and share about different embellishing techniques.
