I just made a couple that didn't have loose center bands - they simply had a piece of bubinga glued to one end. I then turned the pen into a cigar shape and made a little bead out of the bubinga.

I did make sure the tube was in the lower barrel and not the band, this way everything lines up well and the twist mechanism works smoothly.

Like Brandon said. You cam make your own.
I have made hundreds of them using slimline kits. .
Here are a couple examples in both wood and corian.

The bands shown in the link are for slimline pens. I make bands out of many types of materials such as corian, wood, acrylic. I save the pieces that get cut off and then turn them into bands. I glue brass tube into them so they fit nicely over the transmission and turn them to whatever shape I want. Allows much more creative design since you can make them as wide as you want. You can also buy comfort bands from www.woodnwhimsies.com they sell an assortment of them in different colors, etc.
